As usual I’ve been travelling and this time I chose somewhere close to home with TONS to offer: Calgary.

When I think of fashion in Alberta generally my mind goes to Calgary: they not only have more variety but it’s also filled with loads of local gems.

Emilie and I recently visited Calgary for a Girl’s Trip and while we were there had the joy of visiting Fieldstudy Shop.

Fieldstudy Shop is owned by a lovely woman named Sarah, she is friendly, welcoming and INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about all the products she carries which are all ethically sourced and designed.

Each piece in her store has a story to tell.

Pictured in these photos is one of the many beautiful pieces that Fieldstudy Shop Carries: This dress from osei-duro is called the Agona Dress in the Astronomy Print, it was hand dyed and hand sewn in Ghana using 100% organic cotton.

Fieldstudy Shop carries a wide variety of pieces from every day casual clothing, to a boob pillow. The store itself is a space that breathes creativity and individuality.
